General information about grants

The Estonian Authors’ Society (EAÜ) supports various initiatives in the field of music through the following means:

  • EAÜ grant program
  • EAÜ board direct grants (recognition, studies, and one-time events)
  • EAÜ and Music Estonia export fund

EAÜ grant program
The aim of the EAÜ Grant Program is to encourage and support the creation of new Estonian music, thereby enriching Estonia’s musical landscape and expanding creative opportunities for authors. The program includes commissioning new compositions, supporting music creation through collaborative initiatives, as well as producing and recording music in both audio and video formats.

EAÜ board direct grants
The EAÜ Board provides support for initiatives and activities that promote the recognition of authors, highlight the value of being an author, support studies related to copyright, and contribute to projects with exceptional and broad-reaching impact on the appreciation and development of Estonian authors and their opportunities.

EAÜ and Music Estonia export fund
The EAÜ and Music Estonia Export Fund aims to facilitate the international dissemination of Estonian music by supporting the participation of Estonian artists and music industry professionals in international showcase festivals, associated conferences, and other significant foreign events.
