Corporate events
Corporate events are company-organized activities aimed at engaging and motivating employees. These can include various types of events serving different purposes, such as anniversaries, summer retreats, Christmas parties, etc.
If music is to be used at these events, a license must be obtained from EAÜ for the public performance of music.
The license fee depends on whether the event features live performances (e.g., a performer or band) or background music (e.g., played by a DJ or from a playlist).
- Live performance events: The license fee is €0.30 per person per event day, but not less than €30 per event day.
- Background music events: The license fee is €0.15 per person per event day, but not less than €30 per event day.
Note: The license fee rates stated here do not include the VAT amount added by EAÜ according to the VAT Act. This VAT is calculated on EAÜ’s service fee and is shown as a separate line on the invoice issued by EAÜ.
The license fee rates are valid from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025.
No later than 14 days after the event, a financial report must be submitted, and in the case of a live performance (a band or artist performs), a repertoire report as well. Based on the received reports, a license fee invoice will be issued.
