Discos

For discos or dance evenings with paid entry, the license fee for the public performance of musical works is 3.5% of the event’s entry fee (excluding VAT), but not less than €10 per day of the event.

If it is a children’s event, the license fee rate is 2.5% of the event’s entry fee (excluding VAT).

For free entry events, the license fee is €10 per day of the event.

The above-mentioned license fee rates are valid until December 31, 2024.

Note: Midsummer bonfire events are treated as concerts, not as discos or dance evenings.

NB! The licence fee rates shown here do not include the amount of VAT to be added by the EAÜ under the Value-Added Tax Act, which is calculated on the EAÜ’s commission and shown as a separate line on the invoice submitted by the EAÜ.

License Fee from January 1, 2025

If it is a children’s event, the license fee rate is 2.5% of the event’s entry fee (excluding VAT).

For free entry events, the license fee depends on the number of attendees:
1-100 people: €10 per day of the event
101-300 people: €15 per day of the event
301-600 people: €30 per day of the event
601-1000 people: €45 per day of the event
For every additional 1000 people: €40 per day of the event is added.

The above-mentioned license fee rates are valid from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
