Song and dance festivals

The licensing fee for song and dance festivals is 5% of the event’s entry fee (excluding VAT), with a minimum of €30 per day of the event.
 

All tickets distributed through barter transactions will be included in the admission fee and will be calculated on the basis of the average ticket sales price.

Tickets distributed free of charge, which represent more than 10% of the total number of tickets for the event, will be included in the admission fee and will be calculated on the basis of the average ticket sales price.

In cases of free entry:
  • for 1-100 attendees: €20 per day of the event
  • for 101-300 attendees: €30 per day of the event
  • for 301-600 attendees: €40 per day of the event
  • for 601-1000 attendees: €65 per day of the event
  • for each additional 1,000 attendees: an additional €50 per day of the event
For dance festivals, the repertoire report must include the title of the musical work, the composer, the lyricist, and the choreographer who created the dance.
 
NB! The licence fee rates shown here do not include the amount of VAT to be added by the EAÜ under the Value-Added Tax Act, which is calculated on the EAÜ’s commission and shown as a separate line on the invoice submitted by the EAÜ.
 
These licensing fee rates are valid from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

No later than 14 days after the event, a financial report must be submitted, and in the case of a live performance (a band or artist performs), a repertoire report as well. Based on the received reports, a license fee invoice will be issued.
