Club
The licence fee is calculated on the basis of the size of the area open to visitors (measured in square metres) and the number of days the club is open during the week. For concerts, the royalties depend on the income from ticket sales.
For a live performance (a band or an artist) in a nightclub or discotheque, a repertoire report shall be submitted in addition to the financial report, which can be found at the following website http://rep.eau.org.

Club – an entertainment establishment where dancing and music-related entertainment have priority over catering and where, as a rule, entry is paid.
Live music – music that has been sung, played or performed in another way directly, i.e. in a live performance, except in the case of a concert.
Concert – a pre-announced entertainment event where musical works are performed live by a performer/ensemble, i.e. directly, and tickets are sold at a higher price than the usual club entrance fee.
Concert organizer – the club itself or another person who has rented the club’s premises to organize a concert.

NB! The licence fee rates shown here do not include the amount of VAT to be added by the EAÜ under the Value-Added Tax Act, which is calculated on the EAÜ’s commission and shown as a separate line on the invoice submitted by the EAÜ.
The royalty rates are valid until 31 December 2024.
