The license fee for public performance of musical works at an event with paid entrance fee is 2.5% of the income received as admission fees (excluding VAT), but not less than €10 per day of the event.
All tickets distributed through barter transactions will be included in the admission fee and will be calculated on the basis of the average ticket sales price.
Tickets distributed free of charge, which represent more than 10% of the total number of tickets for the event, will be included in the admission fee and will be calculated on the basis of the average ticket sales price.
For events with free entrance, the license fee is based on the number of attendees:
1–100 attendees: €10 per day of the event
101–300 attendees: €15 per day of the event
301–600 attendees: €30 per day of the event
601–1000 attendees: €45 per day of the event
For each additional 1000 attendees: an additional €40 per day of the event
NB! The licence fee rates shown here do not include the amount of VAT to be added by the EAÜ under the Value-Added Tax Act, which is calculated on the EAÜ’s commission and shown as a separate line on the invoice submitted by the EAÜ.
The license fee rates are valid from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
No later than 14 days after the event, a financial report must be submitted, and in the case of a live performance (a band or artist performs), a repertoire report as well. Based on the received reports, a license fee invoice will be issued.
